Cow Moose Hunt in Ontario, Canada

My Dad and I traveled to northern Ontario over the last week to hunt for a cow moose with crossbows. We were not successful with our moose hunt, and we never even saw a moose in the woods. We did see evidence that they were around. It was a beautiful week weather wise, with little wind and hot temperatures which is not good for moose hunting. I learned a lot on this hunt about moose hunting and their habits. We did have a great place to stay at Castlebar Lake Resort. The fishing on the lake was very good for others that stayed there, we did not buy any fishing licenses. We say over 40 grouse on our trip, certainly a bird hunter paradise. The fall colors were in full display in Canada.
